A blade back iron will be much thinner and easier to swing while providing a very soft feeling when hitting it in the right place on a particular swing. The cavity back iron will give you a much bigger sweet spot while also taking part of the ease of swing away since the club is a considerable amount heavier. Make sure that the lie is right in your club to get the right lift on your ball for your body; this is a factor that is based on each individual golfer so make sure that you have the right lie for you, not for anybody else.

A good iron can get you out of many a particularly difficult position so it is important that you spend the right amount of time and energy to purchase the right one. While some may need more loft or lie than others it all depends on your game and how you play the game in general. Don’t spend money without first understanding your game and what it will take you to be successful at your game. Make sure that you understand what each aspect does and understand what the irons have that you are interested in purchasing before you make the actual purchase.
